This three-wheeled van inspired by Only Fools and Horses is now on sale for just £14,995 and will have aspiring Del Boys from across the nation rushing to hand over their readies.

The recreation is being offered for sale – complete with just 52,611miles on the clock – via the Piston Heads motor enthusiasts’ website.

The Reliant 21E Supervan 3 features an “850cc 4-cylinder overhead cam naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 39BHP”.

A blurb posted online alongside photos of the vehicle states: “Stunning recreation of the iconic Only Fools and Horses three wheeled van including the suitcase and sheepskin coat.

“Fantastic condition inside and out. Must be seen. Viewing available in our Corby showroom. Finance available. Cards accepted.”

Potential buyers and collectors are reminded the iconic car featured heavily in the smash hit BBC show in the 80s and 90s becoming a much-loved feature of the sitcom for millions of diehard fans.

An advert description adds: “Only Fools and Horses has become one of the UK’s most cherished comedies.

“Starring the likes of David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst as Del Boy and Rodney Trotter respectively, the brothers got up to no good as they desperately tried to make themselves millionaires with their dodgy schemes.

“In order to do so, they had their trusty yellow three-wheeled van at hand to get them around the streets of Peckham. Del Boy and Rodney were often recognised before they even opened their mouths, thanks to their little yellow van.

“With its dirtied exterior, three wheels and the words “Trotters Independent Trading” on the side, it became one of the most memorable elements of the series.”

In September a three-wheeled Reliant Regal from the chandelier episode of Only Fools and Horses was being sold for a bargain £18,000 at Classic Car Auctions in Warks.

While last month it was reported Sir David Jason admitted he was still haunted by Del Boy’s voice more than 20 years after he last played the part.

The actor admitted it’s tough moving on to something new as, wherever he goes, he hears the wheeler dealer’s voice.

David told Radio Times: “You walk around with the ghost of Del Boy behind you, peering over your shoulder saying, ‘Go on. Tell her Bonjour’.

“And I’m thinking, ‘Will you shut up!?’. But that is what the character would do. He’d say, ‘Well, bonjour, bonjour! Bonnet de douche?’.”

Last month we also told how killjoys have banned Del Boy fans from asking Sir David Jason for selfies at a £550-a-pop event.

The Nelson Mandela house actor is the big name at an Only Fools and Horses Appreciation Society bash scheduled for 2025.

Attendees are promised a “Moment with Sir David Jason” posing for a photo in the Trotter flat, a Saturday Night Karaoke event and the option of a snap taken at the Nags Head with other stars from the show.
