Oppo Find X8 series with MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC introduced in India

The Oppo Find X8 series has officially made its debut in the Indian market today. The new lineup includes Oppo Find X8 and Oppo Find X8 Pro. Both phones are the first smartphones to arrive equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC in the country. Moreover, the phones run on ColorOS 15 with Android 15 out of the box. The handsets include Hasselblad-tuned cameras with a 50-megapixel primary sensor.

Oppo Find X8 Series pricing and availability

The price of the Oppo Find X8 in India starts at Rs 69,999 for the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage option. The 16GB RAM with 512GB storage variant will come with a price tag of Rs 79,999. The device will be available in two colour options Black and Grey.

On the other hand, the Oppo Find X8 Pro will set you at Rs 99,999 and will come in White and Black colour options.

Both the phones can be purchased via Oppo e-store, Flipkart, and retail stores in the country from December 3.

Both Oppo Find X8 and Oppo Find X8 Pro are powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 inbuilt storage. The phone operates on ColorOS 15 based on Android 15. The basic variant has a 6.59-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with 1,256×2,760 pixels of resolution. The panel has up to 120Hz refresh rate support and 460ppi pixel density. It comes with 4,500nits of peak brightness. On the other hand, the Pro variant includes a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with 1,264×2,780 pixels of resolution and 450ppi pixel density. The rest of the details remain the same as the standard model.

In terms of cameras, the standard model comes with a 50-megapixel Sony LTY-700 primary sensor, a secondary 50-megapixel ultrawide lens with 120 degrees FoV and a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. For selfies, it features a 32-megapixel camera on the front.

The Oppo Find X8 Pro on the other hand includes a 50-megapixel LYT-808 sensor, a secondary 50-megapixel ultrawide camera with a 120-degree FoV and a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. Lastly, there is a 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 periscope telephoto sensor with up to 6x optical zoom.

The Oppo Find X8 and Find X8 Pro include GPS, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, 5G, 4G LTE support USB Type-C connector for connectivity. The company has provided a USB 3.1 connector for the Pro model. The 5,630mAh silicon carbon battery that Oppo included with the Find X8 can be charged at 80W SuperVOOC and 50W AirVOOC. The Pro model houses a 5,910mAh battery.
