Our Yorkshire Farm's Amanda Owen has sent out an alert to her followers, after being back on our screens in the latest instalment, Our Farm Next Door.
Following online concerns, Amanda's representative took action to guide her audience towards online safety, highlighting several impersonators targeting fans.
"Hi all, this is Jo, Amanda's agent. Hope you're all having a good weekend. It's been brought to my attention this past few days that there are a number of FB pages springing up, which are passing themselves off as being in some way related to Amanda and/or the new series," the post on social media detailed.
Given that the Yorkshire Shepherdess boasts an official Facebook fan count exceeding 89,000, the TV star's agent emphasised the authenticity of just one approved channel. "This is just a quick note to confirm that this is the one and only official channel (verified with a blue tick) in relation to Amanda, along with the TV series, her books and any public speaking events we organise," they clarified.

"If any FB pages make friend requests as if they were Amanda or anyone else in the family, please do not interact with them, and please do not under any circumstances part with any of your hard-earned money if requested to do so.
"We have had a problem in the past with pages pretending to offer live-streaming events and asking people to buy tickets that don't actually exist."
"Anything along those lines is bogus, and the only place you will find legitimate posts is here." The cautionary message went on: "We will never ask you for money or make friend requests. This is purely a channel to let you all know when there's some exciting news to share. Thanks for reading, and please stay safe on the internet."
In the upcoming series Our Farm Next Door, viewers will catch Amanda and her brood breathing new life into an old farmhouse. Chatting on ITV's Lorraine earlier this month, Amanda, who's hit the big 5-0, spilled the beans about the show and her dreams for the venture. We have a vision, and the vision is to have a working farm that we can call our own and a place for the children.
"I mean, I don't know where they are going to go. We have nine of them, but only one of them has left home, but it seems like they gravitate back," she shared.
