Paige DeSorbo revealed she is freezing her eggs following her split from Craig Conover.
The “Summer House” star told her “Giggly Squad” listeners Tuesday that she was “going in for [her] first appointment” to “freeze [her] eggs” this week.
While DeSorbo acknowledged that it was a “huge” decision, she confessed it was something she “always knew” she would do.
“I have wanted to do it … I would probably say like last year — probably in the spring — I was like, ‘OK, in 2025 I’m freezing my eggs,'” she said.
DeSorbo, 32, knew January would be the best time to get it done because she had a break in her touring schedule.
“I had like a list of things I wanted to get done in the month of January,” she explained. “So that was like one of my goals and I made my first appointment.”
While she got the ball rolling, DeSorbo is still deciding exactly when she wants to start the process— which has been admittedly difficult.
“The only thing is I have to pick two weeks that I’m gonna be home because I have to do the shots at the same time every night and I think they have to be in the refrigerator,” she explained.
As of now, DeSorbo is likely going to do it at “the beginning of March” once their “Giggly Squad” tour wraps.
“[I’ll] do the shots and the retrieval,” she said.
The reality TV star explained that she wanted the “safety” net of knowing she took precautionary steps for her future fertility journey.
“When I first decided to freeze my eggs it wasn’t like, ‘Oh my god [it’s for] my career,’ like I genuinely thought at 32 I would have a kid,” she said. “But always in the back of my head I was like, ‘What if I get to 39 or 40 and I’m like wait I want one more.’ So that was always my thought process on freezing my eggs.”
While she originally wanted to undergo the procedure to give her more options, she now has a slightly different perspective following her split from Conover.
“So now it’s different,” she said. “I need it as like security I think but it is making me relax a little bit though knowing that I’m doing it.”
DeSorbo has always stayed true to her gut when it came to settling down. In May 2023, the reality TV star defended her decision to postpone marriage and kids despite Conover’s desire to get engaged and move in together.
“If the roles were reversed and Craig, as a 30-year-old man, said he wanted to focus on his career and wait to get married, everyone would praise him and tell him he has a good head on his shoulders,” DeSorbo told The Post at the time.
“But when it comes to me saying it, people assume things: ‘Oh, you don’t love your boyfriend.’ This could not be further from the truth.”
While Conover, 36, primarily lived in Charleston, SC, DeSorbo hustled hard for her luxury lifestyle in New York City.
Although the couple happily navigated long-distance dating for three years, they officially called things off in December 2024.

After their split, it was revealed that Conover also put some preemptive thought into family planning with DeSorbo.
During a January episode of “Southern Charm,” Conover announced that he froze his sperm to ensure with “certainty” that he’d be a dad one day.
Conover documented his experience in the episode, showing him walking into a fertility clinic with a sample cup.
Despite his decision, Conover told his castmates that he and DeSorbo wanted to wait “three or four years” before having kids.
