The singer has taken to social media where she spoke openly about her struggles and since becoming sober. She shared a video collage, with the first half depicting her struggles, including frequent drinking, smoking, and moments of emotional lows and exhaustion. The second half highlights her recovery journey, showcasing milestones like sobriety badges, including one that reads, "Clean and serene for six months," along with others. The video concludes with uplifting clips of Jackson dancing, laughing, staying active, performing music, and appearing happier and more vibrant.

Jackson captioned the post: "Hi, I'm PK and I'm an alcoholic and a heroin addict. today marks 5 years clean & sober from all drugs and alcohol. to say that i’m thankful would be a poor euphemism. gratitude hardly scratches the surface. it’s because i’m sober that i get to smile today. i get to make music. i get to experience the joy of loving my dogs and cat.

"I get to feel heartbreak in all it’s glory. i get to grieve. i get to laugh. i get to dance. i get to trust. i feel the sun on my skin and it’s warm. i’ve found that life keeps happening regardless of whether i’m sober or not, but today i get to show up for it. Jackson's celebrity friends quickly filled the comment section with praise, including Paris Hilton, who wrote, "So proud of you, sis." Fans also echoed the same praise with one commenting: "Congratulations only a very strong woman has your courage! You are wonderful!" Another added: "Amazing. So happy and proud for you!"

This comes a month after Jackson announced that she's engaged. She announced her engagement to bandmate Justin Long In December 2024. The 26-year-old model shared the exciting news on Instagram, posting a heartfelt photo from the proposal alongside a montage of their moments together.
