The ballsy fella only did it for a joke and did not try to nab himself a free curry from the fine dining venue.
Staff fell for the prank and later shared a snap of the random bloke who had an identical haircut to the musician, eating and enjoying a Cobra beer.
Khans posted on their Facebook page: “The legend Paul Weller here dining tonight just before performing at the halls. Such an amazing gentleman. Thank you #paulweller for choosing us for your dining experience.”
One fan joked: “He’s a Changingman!” while another said: “You do Something to Ghee!”
Another called him ‘The Oddfather” as one more quipped: “Chaats entertainment”.

The waitress added: “A family said to me, you’ve got some very famous people in here today, that’s Paul Weller’s entire band sitting there.
“The guy who said he was Paul Weller wasn’t on their table but he did speak to them. Everyone had been telling me about Paul Weller that day but I had no idea who he was.
“I didn’t even bother googling him.”

Specsavers also joined those poking fun at the mishap, writing: “Posted without comment.”
