Pete Davidson, is that you?
This week, the actor stepped out to preview The Room at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, looking barely recognizable with most of his once signature tattoos now gone.
If you recall, Davidson reportedly started removing some of his 100-plus tattoos in 2020 because of how long they take to cover for movies.
“It takes, like, three hours,” he explained on Late Night with Seth Meyers. “You have to get there three hours earlier to cover all your tattoos, because for some reason, people in movies, they don’t have them that much.”
“Burning them off is worse than getting them,” he added. “Because not only are they, like, burning off your skin, but you’re wearing these big goggles, right? So you can’t see anything and the doctor’s in there with you.”
As a result, the doctor would have to call out tattoos to determine which one to remove, which Davidson called “really embarrassing.”
His tattoos have included cartoon characters, words like “wobbly” and “goon” as I learned while researching this post, and matching ink with past girlfriends.
