TV presenter Phillip Schofield was supported by his wife Stephanie Lowe and their daughters at his late mother's funeral this week, where he was one of the pallbearers.
It was announced just last month by a heartbroken Phillip that Patricia Schofield had passed away, aged 88. The dad-of-two, 62, paid tribute at the time in a post on social media and he expressed gratitude to those who had been involved in her care prior to her death.
A funeral was held for Patricia in Cornwall, which is where she had lived, on Friday. The service at St. Michaels Church in Newquay was attended by family and friends, including Phillip. He was joined by his wife Stephanie, 60, as well as their daughters Molly Schofield, 31, and Ruby Schofield, 28.

Former This Morning host Phillip was among the four pallbearers, with him seen carrying the casket out of the church alongside three other guests. Other photos show him interacting with fellow attendees at his mother's funeral.
The wicker casket had a floral display, featuring an array of flowers including white roses, placed on top. It was placed into the back of a hearse, where more floral tributes were laid out, by the pallbearers following the service. The family appeared to have been accompanied to the funeral by Phillip's dog Alfie and his wife's 'matching' canine companion. Stephanie is said to have helped looked after her husband's dog whilst he was elsewhere at the service.

His wife Stephanie opted for a coordinated blue jumper and matching skirt, with a pair of black boots. The former couple's daughters Molly and Ruby were sporting black coats whilst outside the church for their grandmother's funeral. Molly appeared to have worn a teal dress for the occasion, whilst Ruby was seen in a dark green dress.
Last month, Phillip paid tribute to his late mother when he announced her death on Instagram. He told his followers that Patricia had "decided it was time" to reunite with his late father Brian Schofield, who passed away back in 2008. He wrote in a message to his followers: "After a heartbreaking weekend, my magnificent mum decided it was time to go to her beloved Brian. Over three days, we held her, loved her, hugged her and said everything that needed to be said."

Phillip expressed gratitude to medical staff, writing: "Our eternal thanks to the paramedics. Treliske A&E and Critical Care team who have been, in the past and this weekend, my mum's and our angels. Your love and care has been our saviour."

He shared an image of a quintessential fish and chips meal inside his car against a backdrop of a rainy coastal scene, hinting that he was seeking comfort in the familiar amidst the sombre weather. His caption stated: "Keeping up the family tradition. Flounders fish on the headland." It is thought that the television icon was in Cornwall, where his mother lived.
Throughout it all, Phillip's beloved mum Pat was by his side. During a tough time for the former Dancing On Ice presenter in 2023, Phillip retreated to Cornwall to be with his mother and escape the spotlight and spend quality time by the seaside with her following his exit from This Morning in May 2023.

Discussing his mum's reaction to his coming out, he previously shared: "I went down to see her, she's in Cornwall, and I told her and she said, 'Oh, ok, well, I don't care' - and that's the same with everyone."
Phillip often delighted fans with many hilarious moments with his mum, including a funny text exchange when Pat "had her nails done" and couldn't type properly "until they're dry". The texts saw his mum write: "No I know but I hate the...," to which, Phillip quickly responded: "Mess? Loooool. I'll finish your sentence for you." Seeing his message, Pat retorted: "Mess sorry had my nails done now I can't type."

He said: "I know my mum - we lost my dad in 2008 - she's still saying she's terribly lonely. She looks at other people if they're still couples, and so you need contact, you need a family around you, you need people to be able to talk to if you can, if you're lucky enough to have them around."
Phillip has been married to wife Stephanie since 1993, and she publicly supported him when he came out as gay in 2020, saying: "I love Phillip, as much today as I ever have, and always will. We've been awestruck by the strength and love of our precious girls, even as they've been trying to make sense of it all for themselves. Our family have also been so supportive and will help us going forward. Although this is difficult for us all, I support Phillip in taking this brave step. I will still be there, holding his hand. Everyone should be proud to live their own truth."
