The Primark boots are reminiscent of a designer pair

Primark is stocking a pair of boots that bear a striking resemblance to a designer alternative. Known for its affordable fashion and homeware, the high street giant may have just introduced a new crowd-pleaser.

The retailer's Straight Shaft Knee-High Boots looks similar to a style by designer brand Acne Studios, but at a fraction of the cost. Shoppers can snag the Primark version for £26, while the Acne Studios Leather Tall Boots carry a price tag of £ 900 online.

The boots are similar, with a leather-look finish, matching silhouette, and pointed toe. They both also feature a mid-height stiletto heel.

However, the Acne Studios boots are made with lambskin, while Primark's version are faux leather. The designer boots also feature the brand's logo.

Primark's own description reads: "These sleek knee-high boots are the epitome of classic sophistication. Made from smooth black faux leather, they offer a timeless silhouette that elongates the leg.

"The pointed toe adds a touch of sharpness, while the mid-height stiletto heel ensures a boost. Perfect for pairing with everything from tailored trousers to flowing skirts, these boots are a versatile wardrobe staple that can take you from day to night with ease."
