Disgraced singer R. Kelly has settled a $520,549.90 judgment with cash revenue yielded from his music catalog.
The judgment payout included $379,649.90 in restitution to victims, a $100,000 fine, a $40,000 Justice for Victims of Trafficking Act assessment, and a $900 special assessment.
A federal jury in Brooklyn convicted him of all nine counts of a superseding indictment charging him with racketeering predicated on criminal conduct, including sexual exploitation of children, forced labor and Mann Act violations involving the coercion and transportation of women and girls in interstate commerce to engage in illegal sexual activity.
He’s locked up right now, serving back-to-back prison sentences: 30 years for sex trafficking and 20 years for child porn.
He is currently serving concurrent prison sentences of 30 years for sex trafficking and 20 years for child pornography.
The 57-year-old singer maintained his innocence throughout his trials but will most likely spend the rest of his life behind bars.
