Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14, Episode 5 Recap: Dorit Kemsley Clashes With Camille Grammer

2 hours ago 4

Welcome to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14, Episode 5 recap. Last week, Sutton planned a ritual to bring the group together in sisterhood. Meanwhile, Dorit and Kyle decided to try and work through their issues. Here’s what happened in RHOBH Season 14, Episode 5: “High Horses and Low Blows.”

What happened in Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14, Episode 5?

Jennifer asked her assistant, Jeff, to pour Tiffany some wine. Spoiler alert: Tiffany is a murderous, demonic-looking doll from the Chucky horror franchise. Meanwhile, an unsuspecting Kyle arrived for a visit. Actually, Jennifer lives next door, but likes to entertain at her “play house.”

We also learned that Jennifer owns several properties, including a house in Las Vegas because she and her boyfriend are professional poker players. Plus, a haunted Malibu beach house that they don’t visit because the resident ghost wants his alone time. She also has two Bel-Air homes.

Of course, Kyle gasped when she saw Tiffany and asked if she was there all the time. The answer was no. She moves around the home. Do you know what is creepier? Tiffany is wearing a specially made John Paul Gaultier dress, and Kyle has the same one!

Erika visited Dorit to rehash the exhausting Oceanside trip. However, Dorit has other pressing concerns. She hasn’t spoken to PK Kemsley in two weeks. It seems like he has already checked out of their marriage.

Naturally, Dorit called Sutton’s speech about being sisters and honesty “hypocritical.” And Erika wasn’t thrilled when Sutton brought up her whispering to Kyle. Erika felt like she dared to speak up, and Sutton didn’t.

Garcelle realizes her dream

Sutton drove over to Garcelle’s with Avi, her manager of operations, and a U-Haul. Finally, Garcelle is moving into her beach house after three years. The house is gorgeous! It was Garcelle’s life-long dream, and she did it all on her own.

Meanwhile, Sutton worried that soon, Dorit was going to experience more issues with PK. So, Garcelle clarified her comments last year about Dorit’s break-in and her jewelry. “I don’t think Dorit had anything to do with that. But I think someone did.” She added, “I think Dorit just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.” WOW. This isn’t going to go down well…

Erika is finally feeling like herself again

Dr. Jenn Mann, Erika’s therapist, came to Erika’s home for a session. Finally, after being there for almost four years, Erika wants to make sure her home feels peaceful and tranquil. She finally feels like living again.

Of course, Sutton came up during the session. And it’s because she pointed out what Erika whispered to Kyle about Dorit’s friendship with Teddi Mellencamp.

“Speaking about Sutton’s personality, why is it inconsistent? There has been these occasions in which Sutton feels like she’s being left out of things, and her personality flips,” Erika said in her confessional. Finally, Erika asked why Sutton “triggered” her. The therapist said that Erika doesn’t like to hear “should,” because she feels judged.

What the therapist said next was fascinating. “I think also you have your list of ‘shoulds’ of what the women should have done for you,” Dr. Mann said. In fact, Erika mentioned how Sutton orchestrated a surprise pajama pizza party for Kyle, but no one gave her one. Is Erika jealous of Kyle’s treatment compared to her own?

Kyle was getting ready to host the party at her house. This is her first party without her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky. For Kyle, it feels odd not having Mauricio as her co-host.

So, who rolls up but Camille Grammer Meyer, clad in her best denim dress. Of course, Camille jumped to Mauricio having a mid-life crisis in his bachelor pad, filled with young girls.

Kyle said in her confessional, “I think that Camille is projecting a bit. Has Mo done a few things that I could have lived without, that I had to see on the internet? Yes. For sure.” The screen showed posts about Mauricio and his Dancing with the Stars partner, Emma Slater, holding hands. And another of Mauricio partying with Anitta on a ski trip.

Meanwhile, Dorit arrived, wearing vintage. “I want to not feel worried, panicked, and as if my life is going up in smoke … for one hour,” Dorit said in her confessional. Best of luck, Dorit!

While waiting for her tattoo, Garcelle told Sutton that PK texts Kyle. “I would have a problem with that,” Garcelle said. Poor Sutton looked stunned. “But Kyle told me that Dorit does know that they talk,” Sutton said. While Sutton doesn’t see an issue, Garcelle thinks it is crazy.

Boz brings together “a tribal council”

Boz decided to gather the ladies for “a tribal council,” but she is skeptical that it will work. So, the group gathered, and Sutton brought up “sisterhood” again. While Erika appreciated the sisterhood sentiment, she had something to share with Sutton. “You’re volatile,” Erika stated.

Sutton’s bestie, Jennifer, said in her confessional, “I think she meant it as a put-down. But I do think it is a good description of Sutton.” Ouch! Sutton responded that she was just “calling something out.”

However, as soon as Dorit pointed out that Sutton tends to “overreact” when she is “stressed,” Sutton raised her voice. Right away, Dorit asked Sutton not to do that. So, Sutton lowered her voice and said, “I’m gonna talk normal for you.” Then Sutton added that Dorit just doesn’t listen.

“But that’s 10 years. She ain’t never gonna listen,” Erika chimed in. Well, at least someone is being truthful.

Sutton was spitting nails. “You’re angry, and you’re not angry at me. You’re angry at your life,” Sutton told Dorit. “And don’t take it out on me.”

Dorit said in her confessional, “Ladies and gentlemen, meet Sutton Stracke. The woman who loves to support other women at their lowest.” I’m living for Dorit’s confessionals this season.

Then Sutton added, “It’s not my fault that you are in the position that you are in.” Well, that was definitely a low blow. “Sutton, too far … low blow. By the way, I agree, but I’m not going to say that to her right now,” Kyle said in her confessional. Shady!

According to Dorit, she was the only one being honest, admitting, “My life sucks right now. I am not in a good place at all. And I have zero tolerance for more bullsh*t.”

Finally, Boz brought up a real problem in this group. She pointed out that the ladies “can’t weaponize in moments of vulnerability.” When Sutton asked, “Whose weaponizing?” Boz responded, “You just did, though. When you said she’s not mad at you, she’s mad at her life. That’s weaponizing,” she added.

So, Camille decided to jump into the discussion. She mentioned how when her house burned down, and she lost her assistant of many years, she didn’t get any “empathy” from Dorit. Dorit replied, “Honey, you were a total c*nt to me.”

“Damn!” Garcelle exclaimed. Then Dorit elaborated, saying that she called Camille “a stupid c*nt, not a f*cking c*nt.” Cue the flashback! Plus, Dorit pointed out it was a joke.

In the past, Dorit regretted calling Camille that, but not anymore! It seems that Camille denied knowing it was a joke at the time, claiming that she found out later.

Naturally, Dorit accused her of using it to create a moment on RHOBH. “What are you doing here?” Dorit snapped. “You need a moment?”

Next, Camille called Dorit “condescending.” Then Camille forgot Erika’s name, prompting Erika not to miss a beat in her confessional. “C*nt,” she quipped.

Finally, Sutton told Dorit again that she would be there if she ever needed her. “I would really love to believe that, Sutton,” Dorit replied, “But actions are going to speak louder than words.”

After all this drama, Dorit believes that Sutton doesn’t care about her. She just wants to look like a caring friend.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills returns Tuesday, January 7 at 8/7c on Bravo.
