The Puerto Rico trip continues in Season 15, Episode 12 of Real Housewives of New York. The hour-long saga is titled “A Tantrum and a Truce,” which describes Brynn’s journey during the trip. The episode begins with her yelling at Rebecca and ends with her apologizing to her sworn enemy, the Queen of Nordstrom Rack.

What happened on Real Housewives of New York Season 15, Episode 12?

The latest episode began with Brynn and Rebecca fighting over the infamous, “You’ll understand when you have children” comment. They were not able to come to an understanding at dinner but they patched things up at the end of the episode. They both apologized for being insensitive to each other’s feelings and hugged it out. Some other things happened too. We finally got to meet Racquel’s mom in the episode. She visited the girls in Puerto Rico with her boyfriend, Santiago. She and Racquel had a nice chat and made plans for another visit. Erin showed Jenna and Brynn a photo of Abe’s d*ck, which seemed to upset the other women for reasons beyond my comprehension. Overall, it was a fun episode.

Brynn and Rebecca’s feud continues on Real Housewives of New York

The Brynn and Rebecca feud continues in this episode of RHONY. The episode begins where we left off last week, with the two women fighting over Rebecca’s comment about Brynn not having children. Brynn says she found Rebecca’s comment “patronizing.” Motherhood is a sensitive subject for the 38-year-old, who is trying to start a family, possibly with her ex-fiancé. Rebecca holds her own in the argument, saying Brynn has been rude to her since the second they met. It’s true. Brynn has been testing Rebecca all season.

The women do not resolve their issues in this scene. The tension is dissolved by a conversation about Jenna’s unusually straight pubic hair. Yes, that really is what broke the tension. It’s an insane conversation but it makes the women laugh, and we get a break from Brynn vs. Rebecca.

Racquel’s mom makes an appearance on Real Housewives of New York

Racquel came to Puerto Rico to see her mom for the first time in six years. She talks to Sai about her difficult relationship with her mom. Sai also had a complicated relationship with her mother, so she understands Racquel feeling abandoned. The two women talk about breaking the cycle and being emotionally available parents to their children.

Racquel’s mom, Marian, arrives with her boyfriend Santiago. It’s nice to see Racquel and her mom together. Despite their differences, there is a lot of love there. Marian meets the ladies, who are all excited to meet the woman who raised Racquel. Jenna joins later and greets the women by kissing them on the lips. Marian looks extremely uncomfortable; but nobody should have to change who they are in 2024 based on who they are around.

Raquel says the last time she saw her mom was six years ago after Hurricane Maria. Jessel is confused about who this “Maria” person is. She thinks they are talking about Marian’s sister. Oh, Jessel. Oh, sweet, sweet, Jessel.

Racquel talks to her mom about visiting New York. Her mom is reluctant because she gets nervous on planes. Racquel assures her she will be ok and says they can fly down together. Marian is open to this idea, which is a step in the right direction. I think this was a productive trip for Racquel. I hope seeing her mom helped her.

After Racquel’s mom leaves, the women go shopping in Old San Juan. Erin, Jenna, and Brynn split from the group to look in a clothing store. Erin asks an employee to pull some items for her husband, Abe, who she says is a size large. Jenna jokes that there is “nothing large about Abe,” which prompts Erin to pull up a picture of her husband’s d*ck. This episode has taken a sharp left turn. We just watched a mother and daughter repair their relationship and now we’ve transitioned to d*ck pics.

Anyway, Brynn and Jenna are shocked and impressed by the photo. Jenna withdraws her statement and Erin looks pretty pleased with herself. LOL. Good for her.

The three ladies rejoin the group for lunch where Brynn fills them in on Abe’s package. The women have a weird reaction to the story. Sai and Ubah seem offended by Erin’s decision to share the photo. Ubah is getting emotional over it, which is a little confusing. They have a point. There is a double standard when it comes to sharing explicit photos of your partner. However, I don’t think Abe is the type of guy who will be upset by this. Their reaction seems a bit dramatic.

Brynn and Rebecca clear the air on Real Housewives of New York

In the final scene, Rebecca and Brynn clear the air. Rebecca approaches Brynn and asks if they can have a chat. Brynn suggests they have the conversation in front of Erin. She is not too pleased to be involved in this conversation but agrees to play middle man.

Rebecca apologizes for her “Brynn, you have no children comment.” Surprisingly, Brynn also apologizes for lashing out and projecting her insecurities onto Rebecca. Woah! Would we call this a resolution? I think so! I never thought I would see the day. They even hug it out. I must be dreaming.

If you thought Brynn and Rebecca’s moment of closure meant the rest of the Puerto Rico trip would be blissful, you thought wrong. The episode ends with a teaser clip of the next episode, which shows the women screaming at each other over dinner.
