Following an online report suggesting that the $7.5 million home owned by Dorit Kemsley and her husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley, had gone into pre-foreclosure, the news has been confirmed.

After the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couple’s separation in May, and amid their ongoing tax woes, a report has confirmed that the six-bedroom, seven-bathroom, 7,100-square-foot Encino, California home is currently in pre-foreclosure after Dorit, 48, and PK, 57, missed months of payments.

According to court records obtained by The U.S. Sun on November 14, a notice of default was filed against the property on October 16, which means that the estranged couple has missed “four or more” payments and prompted the start of the foreclosure process.

Although the foreclosure of their home has begun, the outlet stated that Dorit and PK can prevent the loss of their property by getting up to date on their missed payments with a lump sum, hiring an attorney to set up a payment plan, filing a lawsuit, filing for bankruptcy, or applying to the California Mortgage Relief Program.

If they fail to do so, due to California law, the lender can foreclose on the home out of court.

As RHOBH fans may recall, Dorit and PK purchased the home in August 2019 for $6.5 million and resided there with their two children, son Jagger, 10, and daughter Phoenix, 8, as they attempted to sell it on a number of different occasions.

The home is also where Dorit was held at gunpoint and burglarized in 2021.

According to separate court documents obtained by The U.S. Sun, Dorit and PK have both been hit with tax bills in recent years. And, while Dorit paid off a $635,887 IRS tax lien for her and PK’s 2015 taxes, she was the only one cleared in the certificate of release of a federal lien.

While Dorit still owed taxes for 2017 and 2018 as of 2023 and had a $90,269 balance with the IRS in 2021, PK owed nearly $1 million in taxes as of last year.

As the outlet shared, PK owes a combined total of $986,887 in taxes, including $230,965 from 2014 and $58,458 from 2016 owed to the IRS, and an additional $293,222 from 2014 and 2015 and $404,242 from 2016 to the state of California, as of 2023.

He was also met with a gambling debt of $2.27 million, which he paid off in 2022.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 14 premieres Tuesday, November 19, at 8/7c on Bravo.
