The Barbadian singer and businesswoman stepped out for a small shopping spree to prepare for New Year’s Eve in New York City. Rihanna slipped into a casual look and added a bit of edginess to her ensemble with the furry accessory that totally stood out. Moreover, the 36-year-old didn’t hold back with the bling and wore sparkly jewels for the special evening.

Rihanna, who celebrated New Year’s Eve in New York City, stepped out to do some last-minute things from a Target store. The singer continued her love for baggy outfits and rocked a casual yet chic ensemble for her outing. Rihanna wore an oversized Tupac shirt and paired it with classic denim jeans. The singer added edginess to her look with an oversized leather jacket, which featured green panels on the back of the baggy sleeves. The sections matched the furry purse she carried for the evening. 

Meanwhile, the highlight of Rihanna’s ensemble was her huge faux fur hat — a perfect choice of accessory for the cold temperatures in NYC. The businesswoman further opted for a pair of brown boots. Besides that, she continued to glam up the look with stacked chunky gold and silver necklaces. The “Diamonds” hitmaker also wore a dazzling set of huge rings to complete her ensemble. 

Undoubtedly, Rihanna ringed in the new year in style. In fact, she also made a hearty confession in her celebratory video. Rihanna posted a video of the countdown and after the clock struck 12, further revealing that she did not consume alcohol throughout 2024. As the singer stepped into a new year, she penned in the Instagram Reel‘s caption, “New Year, New Me.”
