Rob Brydon is a Welsh actor, comedian, singer and writer who rose to fame in the black comedy series Human Remains and the mockumentary series Marion and Geoff.
The 59-year-old has appeared in several series over the years, including the comedy series Supernova, The Keith Barret Show and 24 Hour Party People.
However, Brydon is most known for his role as Uncle Bryn in the BBC sitcom Gavin & Stacey, for which he received a BAFTA Award nomination for Best Comedy Performance.
He has also appeared in several TV series with comedian and actor Steve Coogan, including The Trip, The Trip to Italy, The Trip to Spain and The Trip to Greece.
Before rising to fame, Brydon grew up with his parents and younger brother in the village of Baglan near Port Talbot, Wales.

The village is located on the side of a hill near Baglan Bay, the moors and Cwmafan.
While at school, he met stand-up comedian Suzy Eddie Izzard, comedian and writer Ruth Jones and actress Catherine Zeta-Jones.
Away from the screen, Brydon lives in Strawberry Hill in Twickenham, Richmond upon Thames, with his wife, Clare Holland. The couple has two sons.

The posh suburb is known for its 18th-century Gothic villa, Strawberry Hill House, which was designed by author Horace Walpole between 1749 and 1776.

In the summer, visitors can enjoy a picnic on Twickenham Green or, in the autumn, enjoy a crisp walk and a hot coffee from one of the surrounding cafes. Meanwhile, views of Eel Pie Island can be enjoyed from The Embankment in Twickenham.
