A world-famous singer-songwriter caused quite a stir recently after being spotted Down Under.
The iconic Irish-born artist is in Australia's Gold Coast preparing for his part in a forthcoming comedy action movie.
Starring alongside celebrities including American rapper Vanilla Ice and actor Chuck Morris, the singer was spotted sporting very casual attire, worlds away from his usual style.
Seen on the tarmac wearing an orange and blue shell suit, the Irish punk rock singer accessorised his look with aviator shades and a pair of high-top trainers to complete his transformation.
The star is one of many celebrities set to make cameo appearances as fictitious versions of themselves in the Australian action comedy film Zombie Plane – can you guess who it is?
Bob Geldof rose to fame in the 1970s as lead singer of Irish rock band the Boomtown Rats.
The 'I Don't Like Monday's' singer will play a comedy fictitious version of himself in the movie, alongside Love Island Australia host Sophie Monk and actress Ann Truong.
The film sees passengers on a jet flying from Sydney to Los Angeles become infected with new strains of zombie viruses.
Vanilla Ice and Sophie Monk are forced to team up to contain the contagious diseases before the US Air Force shoots the plane down.
The movie, directed by Lav Bodnaruk and Michael Mier is being filmed in Brisbane and set for release next year.
The 73 year old Irish singer-songwriter and political activist rose to fame as lead singer of Boomtown Rats in the late 1970s.
He then teamed up with Midge Ure in 1984 to cofound the charitable supergroup Band Aid to raise funds for famine relief in Africa.
The band's single "Do They Know It's Christmas?" was the best-selling single in UK history at the time.
Knighted in 1986 for his charity work, he was married to the late TV presenter Paula Yates from 1986 to 1996.
The couple went on to have three children: Pixie (34), Peaches (who died of a heroin overdose at the age of 25 in 2014) and Fifi (41).
He is still involved in a variety of charitable causes and organizations.
