Loose Women's Ruth Langsford has opened up about her personal growth and the significance of moving on after parting ways with Eamonn Holmes. The duo, who were a staple on This Morning, left fans shocked in May when they parted ways after 14 years together, as confirmed by their representative.
Ruth has remained tight-lipped about the separation but continues to sport her wedding band during public appearances, mirroring Eamonn, who appears to have embarked on a new journey with his younger companion, Katie Alexander.
In an emotional conversation with Woman and Home Magazine, 64 year old Ruth reflected on past regrets and the importance of progress. "I have many regrets, but I try not to dwell on them. You can't go back and change things," she shared.
She emphasised the importance of learning from the past and prioritising "happiness" for herself and her son Jack, aged 22.
Ruth lavished praise on her son with Eamonn, calling him her "greatest love" and describing him as "a delightful, caring and a wonderful young man.", reports Belfast Live.

Ruth and Eamonn's family also includes their cherished rescue dog, Maggie, who stays with Ruth at their home in Surrey. Meanwhile, Eamonn, father to three other children from a previous marriage, is reportedly residing in London close to the GB News studio since the split.
Relationship guru Jesper Jensen from ExpertsEnAmour weighed in on the seemingly final split between the pair, offering insights for a potential reconciliation. He suggested: "Eamonn and Ruth have a history, and sometimes that can work in your favour if both have worked through past issues. For any chance of getting back together, there needs to be a genuine desire to forgive, heal, and rebuild trust."

He warned that without addressing these critical factors, they might find themselves grappling with "the same old problems" On the topic of Eamonn's new love interest, Jensen remarked: "When someone is emotionally ready, the timing may not matter as much as it seems."
However, he cautioned that rebound relationships are not without their pitfalls: "Eamonn's experience with Ruth will shape his approach with his new partner. If he's really reflected on his past relationship, this could be a good foundation, but only if both partners are willing to deal with any emotional baggage."
