Ruth Langsford has given heaps of love to her TV "son" after he celebrated his birthday.
The Loose Women presenter, 64, took to her social media to gush over her darling TV pal, but kept her message short and sweet. It comes after the pair were seen living it up as they hit the town for some much needed relaxation.
Former This Morning host Ruth took to her social media on Friday (October 25) to wish her ITV co-star Rylan Clark a happy birthday. It comes as he marks his 36th birthday, though he himself did not seem enthralled with his new age, simply posting a tweet saying: "36," and a birthday cake emoji.

Ruth and Rylan have a relaxed relationship, with the former X Factor legend branding Ruth as his TV "mother", after she took him under her wing when she got a job on the ITV morning show. This was something that Ruth kept in mind as she sent a short but sweet message to Rylan as he enjoyed his special day.
Posting a snap of herself with her TV "son", Ruth and Rylan beamed with smiles at the camera as she took to the caption to write: "Happy birthday to my darling boy!" She also had some fun with the photo, adding a blue crown that bore the words "birthday boy" to Rylan's head.
Finishing off her short tribute, she penned: "Love you, Rylan," before tagging him on her Instagram story. It comes after the pair were seen at the Celebrity Big Brother winner's Essex pad, letting their hair down and having some much-needed TLC.
Last weekend, showbiz legend Lizzie Cundy was also invited to the fun evening and filmed as Ruth grabbed the mic for a sultry duet with her This Morning co-star. The pair could be seen flaunting their vocals as they went all out for a rendition of Diana Ross and Lionel Richie's timeless classic, Endless Love.
Penning in the caption for her thousands of followers, Lizzie said: "What a duet!" followed by a slew of red heart emojis, tagging the TV duo in the process. An embarrassed Ruth would go on to share the video, joking: "Thank goodness ONE of us can sing!!"
It comes as Ruth continues to reel from her split from long-time husband and partner Eamonn Holmes, after they called time on their relationship in May. While Eamonn was quick to throw himself back into his TV career, Ruth took some time away, only making a full return to our screens in July.
Since then, she has been able to make massive victories in their bitter divorce battle, as she was able to maintain custody of their shared pooch Maggie. Eamonn and Ruth had rescued the dog from a home some years before they ended up splitting, though Eamonn admitted he would love to still see his four-legged friend again soon.
