Ryan Giggs and girlfriend welcome first child with adorable name

A former Manchester United player has been spotted out with his partner and their newborn baby this week.

It has been announced that former footballer Ryan Giggs, 50, has now welcomed his first child with lingerie model Zara Charles, 36. The couple's daughter, Cora, is said to have been born at a hospital in Manchester just a few days ago.

Ryan and Zara, who are thought to have been together since 2021, were seen out with the newborn in Trafford, within Greater Manchester, on Monday. The outing reportedly comes just days after the baby's birth last Friday.

Photos published by the Daily Mail this week show Ryan pushing a pram whilst walking beside his partner. He's seen wearing a green fleece, blue trousers and white trainers on the walk. He wrapped up further with a black scarf.

His partner Zara was instead seen wearing a biege jumper underneath a black jacket. She also opted to sport a pair of black leggings and white trainers for the stroll. Zara was seen carrying a cream handbag on her arm in the photos.

Zara reportedly has a daughter from a previous relationship. Whilst Ryan has two children from his marriage to Stacey Cooke, with the former couple parents to Libby Giggs, 21, and Sheffield United footballer Zach Giggs, 18, together.

Ryan - who also played for Wales' national team during his football career - was seen beaming in some of the photos following the birth of his youngest child. The birth was confirmed in a statement to the Daily Mail by a spokesperson.

They said in the statement that the couple are "delighted" to announce Cora's birth. They added that Ryan and Zara have expressed gratitude to the "amazing" staff at the hospital where the newborn was born just last week.

The spokesperson told the outlet: "Ryan and his partner Zara are delighted to announce the birth of their daughter, Cora Giggs who was born on Friday 1 November. They extend their warmest gratitude to all the amazing staff especially the midwives at Wythenshawe hospital."

It was reported earlier this year that Ryan and Zara were expecting their first child together. Following the news, a source told the Sun back in April that the couple were "thrilled" over the prospect of welcoming the new arrival. The source told the outlet: "Ryan and Zara are thrilled at the prospect of becoming parents again." They said that the pair are "building a long-term future together," adding: "Their life is very simple, they go for walks, they go for coffees and love keeping fit."
