Samsung unveiled its highly-anticipated S series at its Galaxy Unpacked event, revealing Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. The company also teased Galaxy S25 Edge at its event. While we have some of the notable enhancements in Galaxy S25, it is worth noting whether or not you would want to replace your Galaxy S24 with the newly launched Galaxy S25.

Samsung Galaxy S24 vs Galaxy S25 Specifications:

At first glance, the Galaxy S25 looks similar to the Galaxy S24 but the company brought some of the design, chipset, and AI features changes in the Galaxy S25. The smartphone is powered by the newly launched Snapdragon 8 Elite, whereas the Galaxy S24 was powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. However, In India it is powered by Exynos 2400. On Operating System, the Galaxy S25 runs on One UI 7 based on Android 15, whereas, Galaxy S24 runs on One UI 6 based on Android 14.

The S25 comes with advanced ray tracing and Vulkan API improvements, whereas, the S24 lacks the advanced efficiency. Talking about the bezels, the Galaxy S25 features slimmer bezels along with softer edges, but Galaxy S24 is slightly bulkier.

As far as camera features are concerned, the Galaxy S25 is equipped with the same camera hardware as the Galaxy S24 including 50MP main, 12MP ultra-wide, and 10MP 3X telephoto cameras. Nevertheless, the tech giant has equipped Galaxy S25 with several AI enhancements for improved low-light photography.

To power the phone, the company has kept the same battery capacity for Galaxy S25 with 4000mAh battery capacity.

The display of Galaxy S25 comes with the same size as the Galaxy S24 with 6.2-inch OLED with 120Hz refresh rate and 2340 x 1080 (FHD+) resolution and 16M color depth. The display of Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S24 is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus2 and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus respectively.

Additionally, both the phones differ in terms of connectivity i.e Galaxy S25 coming with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3, whereas Galaxy S24 has Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.
