Following its monthly update cadence, Samsung is now rolling out its final update of 2024 on Galaxy devices. Here’s the full list of devices with the update available.

Samsung Galaxy December 2024 update – What’s new?

Samsung’s December 2024 update doesn’t bring any notable changes outside of new security enhancements.

The update includes just shy of 30 “high” priority patches, as well as one “critical” patch. CVE-2024-38408 relates back to Qualcomm chipsets and is also included in the December 2024 security patch for other Android devices.

What’s definitely not included is One UI 7, which Samsung has confirmed won’t be fully released until 2025. The beta program is open now, with two beta updates released so far, but only on the Galaxy S24 series so far.
