Sarah Jessica Parker's Halloween celebrations took a frustrating turn when thieves stole several of her decorative pumpkins from the doorstep of her $35 million New York City home.

Parker, known for her love of Halloween, had festooned her West Village townhouse steps with intricately decorated magenta and gold pumpkins. However, by the evening of Halloween, all that remained were a few candles and a solitary jack-o'-lantern.

In response to the incident, Parker put up a sign on her door that read, "Shame on pumpkin thieves!!!" She even posted a grab of what appears to be surveillance footage of the theft on her door to make a point.

The pumpkin robbery echoed an incident from five years ago when Parker's pumpkins were similarly stolen from her stoop. Recalling the 2019 theft, Parker took to Instagram, explaining that she had hauled the pumpkins all the way from Massachusetts, only to find them missing.

"All of our pumpkins were stolen, as were all the other pumpkins on our block," she shared, calling it the "Halloween heist of 2019." Her husband, actor Matthew Broderick, expressed his disappointment at the time, stating, "Decency is dead."

Parker's Halloween spirit extends beyond decorations; she has been spotted handing out candy to trick-or-treaters in her neighborhood in past years, delighting both kids and adults with her festive enthusiasm.

Balancing personal and professional life

Beyond her family's Halloween fun, Parker has been busy with both personal and professional pursuits. Recently, she voiced her support for Vice President Kamala Harris in the upcoming election.

She shared a picture of herself with her cat, displaying a Harris placard in her window. In her message, she listed her reasons for supporting Harris, writing, "For the love of my country, for our public schools, for books, for common sense gun laws... For equality, For dignity, For hope, For the constitution, For me, For love, For choice."

Professionally, Parker has also been hard at work on the third season of And Just Like That..., the continuation of her iconic series Sex and the City.

She was photographed recently on set, dressed in a chic, dark-patterned blazer layered over a navy shawl and a long denim skirt, showing her character's signature blend of style and elegance.
