One of Hollywood's most famous performers is Scarlett Johansson, known worldwide for her role as Black Widow in Marvel's 'Avengers'. The 40-year-old actress has been married to Colin Jost, a regular on 'Saturday Night Live', since 2020. In one of Jost's recent appearances on the show, a somewhat surprising scene took place.
Last Saturday, December 21, the show aired its Christmas special before saying goodbye to 2024 and Colin Jost was one of the most outstanding members of the night, with his wife Scarlett Johansson behind the scenes and enjoying the show. However, despite being there, the actress was not spared from the writers' jokes and her own husband read them live.
Jost's jokes about his wife, Scarlett Johansson
In the 'Weekend Update' section, Jost did a monologue while the camera focused on Johansson, who was backstage. Apparently, the actress' husband was unaware of what kind of jokes they had prepared for him and, in fact, was surprised by the first joke.
"Hey, sweetheart, you know Scarlett just celebrated her 40th birthday. Which means I'm about to get out of there!" said Jost, with the actress visibly surprised. "No, no. I'm just playing," added the 'Saturday Night Live' contributor.
"We just had a baby together and you still haven't seen any pictures of him because he's black as hell," Jost said, to which Johansson could be seen saying to the camera, "Oh, my God!"
The jokes, however, did not end there, as Jost went on to say: "Costco has removed its roast beef sandwich from its menu. But I'm not crazy, I've been eating roast beef every night since my wife had the baby," said Scarlett Johansson's husband, who ended up taking the show's jokes in good humor.
