Scheana Shay Slams Lisa Vanderpump’s Paternity Comments About Kristen Doute: ‘So Distasteful’

Vanderpump Rules alum Kristen Doute often butted heads with Lisa Vanderpump. In fact, she was fired from SUR but still managed to be part of the show. Now Kristen is a cast member in The Valley, and she has a lot to celebrate. Unfortunately, Lisa decided to rain on Kristen’s parade. So, Scheana Shay whipped out her umbrella and called out Lisa for making some unkind remarks about Kristen.

Kristen’s boyfriend, Luke Broderick, popped the question in September 2024. Then in November, Kristen shared that she is pregnant with a baby girl. Last year, Kristen suffered a miscarriage, so this news was a welcome surprise.

Still, the couple experienced a scare when the mom-to-be started bleeding heavily. Thankfully, their baby was fine.

During an episode of Access Hollywood’s Housewives Nightcap, Lisa commented that she “never” speaks with Kristen. When she was told of Kristen’s pregnancy, Lisa replied, “I hadn’t heard that. How on Earth did that happen?” She added, “Who’s the father? Do we know?”

When Lisa was informed that Kristen and Luke were engaged, she responded, “Oh she’s getting married? I’m really not very involved in The Valley even though I’m a producer,” Lisa stated.

Well, Scheana sounded off on her podcast, Scheananigans with Scheana Shay. In fact, she named Lisa the “Jax-Hole of the Week.” Scheana stated, “With all due respect, it was kind of shady … Super shady. That’s also unprofessional especially because Lisa is a producer of The Valley.”

The Pump Rules alum continued, “You know who Luke is. He is a cast member of this show. This season, they get engaged.” In Scheana’s eyes, Lisa must have known about their engagement.

“Knowing the struggles that Kristen has shared about her path to becoming a mother, even if you don’t like someone, it is distasteful,” Scheana stated. “How hard is it to … wish her the best?” Of course, Scheana shared that Kristen has a history of standing up to Lisa. However, Scheana added that Kristen is “gonna tell her [Lisa] how she feels,” but in a “respectful” way.
