Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Men Create Their Own Social Media Takeover

2 weeks ago 6

Who knew Hulu’s Secret Lives of Mormon Wives would be the hit it turned out to be? The women of MomTok all brought something very unique to the fray. Viewers were hooked by their swinger scandal, perfectly timed music videos, and fiery storylines. So, it is no surprise that the husbands want to get in on the action, too.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ husbands want their time to shine

As fans know, Taylor Frankie Paul created the original MomTok as a way for her to open up about being a Mormon and a mother. But after she revealed the group were swingers, the ladies pulled apart.  With the success of MomTok, it seems the husbands of the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives were getting a bit jealous sitting in the shadows. Bret Engemann made sure to get in on the fun this past Halloween. Bret took to his TikTok, captioning a video, “POV: It’s Daddy’s Turn.” The video showed him and some of the other husbands mouthing the lyrics to What We Doin by City Girls. Brett was joined by Dakota Mortenson, Connor Leavitt, Jacob Neeley, Jordan Ngatikaur, and Jace Matthews.

The boy squad tried their best to mimic their wives as they videoed themselves partying around the house. But there was no clear MVP. Further, the men posed in the living room, bathroom, kitchen, and even in a closet. Bret asked followers, “Will MomTok survive this?” He also added “Dads of TikTok” and “DadTok” hashtags. Noticeably left out of the video was Zac Affleck, who became quite the villain by the end of the season. None of the wives have liked or commented on the video, but I am sure they are not worried about the possibility of competition.
