Award-winner Selena Gomez wowed the crowd at the 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards with both her custom dress and her speech.
Gomez was honored with a 2025 SAG award for “Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.”
According to E! News, Gomez wore a “custom navy Celine dress,” along with drop earrings and red lips.

Selena Gomez Filled Her Speech With Thanks & Love

“I’m bringing this back to New York for season five. Thank you so much. I’m so grateful. Thank you, SAG-AFTRA. Thank you to everybody. I love you,” Gomez told the crowd, according to E! News.

According to People, Gomez appeared surprised by the win. Short and Martin were not at the SAG awards ceremony, however.
Short previously told People of Gomez, “I think it just gets deeper and deeper and deeper. She is so lovely as a human, she’s so remarkable as a talent, and she just has an aura and this lovely spirit. Our friendship grows and grows.”
Selena Gomez Was Credited With Bringing Back ‘Old Hollywood Glamour’

Her Celine dress contained “a corset bodice and a thigh-high slit. It has an elegant yet structured neckline that wraps around to Gomez’s back,” according to InStyle.
InStyle reported that she was not with her fiance on the red carpet, but she was wearing her engagement ring, described as “her stunning engagement ring, a marquise diamond atop a diamond eternity band.”
Gomez has been recording music with her fiance Benny Blanco, according to posts on her Instagram page.
In December 2024, she announced her engagement by showing off her engagement ring on Instagram and writing, “forever begins now.” The post contained a photo of Blanco kissing Gomez and other shots of her engagement ring.
“Yes I will be the flower girl,” Taylor Swift commented in the thread under that post.
On December 27, Gomez posted a photo showing her kissing Blanco and wished her fans a happy holiday.
