P Diddy’s arrest could signal the start of Hollywood’s total downfall.
Celebrity PR Specialist Kayley Cornelius spoke to Daily Star in an exclusive interview and suggested that the incident could spark a domino effect.
She said: “Hollywood’s decline has been a slow and steady process over the past few years. Platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram have played a massive role in stripping away the glamour once exclusive to A-list celebrities. The lines between influencers and traditional Hollywood stars have become blurred, making what was once an untouchable world more accessible than ever.

“Social media has shattered the glass ceiling that kept Hollywood’s realities hidden. Now, insiders have a platform to share their stories, allowing fans to get a closer look at the inner workings of the industry.”
Kayley suggested that as a result of this, many celebs have “found themselves caught up in controversies” as now “everyday voices are amplified and given space to challenge Hollywood”.
She continued on to say that a “dark cloud looms over the entertainment industry” and the P Diddy case "might spell the end of Hollywood as we know it.”
“Unlike typical scandals that usually involve just one individual or a small group—making it easier for audiences to overlook and move on—this situation is catastrophic for the industry due to the sheer number of influential and beloved names being dragged into the mix."
Fans will undoubtedly lose trust and feel disappointed in their favourite celebrities, forcing them to see the industry in a whole new light. The fallout from this case could dramatically reshape Hollywood, but only time will tell to what extent as we learn more information and discover who else may be involved.”
“In recent years, online cancel culture has surged, with social media amplifying calls for accountability. Celebrities like Kevin Spacey, J.K. Rowling, and Ellen DeGeneres have faced severe backlash, significantly impacting their careers and reputations. Given the scale of the P Diddy scandal and the many A-listers involved, it’s entirely possible we could witness a mass cancellation of Hollywood’s biggest stars, further widening the divide between fans and the industry.”
