Most of us love to indulge in a new fragrance every now and then – but the price tags on top brands can be eye-watering and off putting.

Thankfully, there are ways to achieve similar scents without breaking the bank. And one woman insists that Zara offers plenty of similar products at a fraction of the price.

Beauty dupe connoisseur Alex Pavolva, better known as @beauty.foreverybody on social media, often finds such good cheap alternatives to popular products that it makes her "stop buying the originals".

The content creator shared in a video how impressed she has been with Zara's perfume dupes recently – leaving her saying she won't pay full price for expensive perfumes again.

Rather than forking out a whopping £290 on luxury Tom Ford Bitter Peach 100ml perfume, you can get a similar smelling fragrance called Peach Glow at Zara for £13.

Or for those who love sweet and light fragrances, you will find a £13 bottle of Little Wonder Rose in Zara. It is a dupe for Lacoste's Pour Elle, which will set you back £59.

Another high end perfume which people cannot get enough of is the Byredo Gypsy Water. If you don't have a spare £200 lying around to fork out on one bottle of fragrance, you can save your money and buy Zara's dupe named Waterlily Tea Dress for £26.

If you're looking for a fragrance from a classic brand like Burberry, Alex says Zara's dupe Go Fruity is you go-to. It costs £16 instead of £124 you would be paying for Burberry's 'Her' fragrance.

Vanilla is a classic scent that many love. A popular high end perfume is Huda Beauty's Kayali fragrance for £98. Zara have their own dupe named Supreme Vanilla, priced at £13.

A very popular perfume that many people get for birthdays, Christmas, or as a treat is Flowerbomb by Viktor and Rolf. The fragrance is priced at £110. Zara has an alternative product called Oriental for £13.

Last but not least on Alex's list is the Carolina Herrera Good Girl Eau de Parfum spray. For an 80ml bottle you will have to fork out £110, while the Zara alternative, Deep Garden, will set you back £10.

People were appreciative of Alex's advice – and took to the comments section to share their thoughts. One gushed: "Zara are fab for the dupes."

But others had some criticisms for the cheaper perfume, which may not linger on the skin as long. A commenter said: "They don't last at all."

And another wrote: "Yeah and they last for two secs." If you find this to be the case, we'd recommend popping your perfume into your bag. Then, you can always give yourself an extra spritz during the day!
