Sources Say Channing Tatum & Zoë Kravitz Called It Quits for This All Too Common Reason Among Celebs

Just like most other celebrity couples, Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz‘s unexpected split has had fans speculating about what went wrong between them ever since. After all, it wasn’t that long ago when they were singing each other’s praises during the Blink Twice press tour.

And while initial reports pointed to some major incompatibilities between them, a source recently told Entertainment Tonight that there’s another reason behind it all. “Both have extremely demanding schedules and that was a big part of why they broke up,” a source told the outlet.

Currently, while Kravitz is enjoying her time with friends in NYC, Tatum is in North Carolina filming his new movie, Roof Man. Also coming up for the former couple is their joint movie, Alpha Gang.

“They won’t let the end of their relationship get in the way of their shared projects,” the source added.

The upcoming movie, which will begin filming in the spring of 2025, will also star Cate Blanchett, Dave Bautista, Steven Yeun, Léa Seydoux and Riley Keough, Deadline first reported. The movie will follow a group of alien invaders sent to conquer Earth who disguise themselves in human form as a 1950s leather-clad biker gang called the Alpha Gang.

Previously, Kravitz and Tatum worked together on Blink Twice, a thriller in which Tatum starred and Kravitz directed. It is making the movie, which also marked Kravitz’s directorial debut, that the two met and fell in love.

Per some previous sources, however, their romance quickly fizzled once the promo tour for the movie came to an end. “[Kravitz] and Channing are opposites, but they always bonded over their love for art and film, and that is what held them together,” a source told Us Weekly.

“Ultimately once the project ended, they realized they were on different pages with what they wanted,” the source said. “It fizzled fast after their press tour wrapped. They realized long-term that it wasn’t going to work out.” Looks like these two have a lot to blame for their downfall.
