Southern Charm’s Salley Carson Confirms Split From Andrew Dietz

Every time we gain a new cast member on Southern Charm, they have a romantic tie-in with a current star. Newbie Salley Carson is no different. She and her Season 10 man, Andrew Dietz, each carry a bond with another on this series, making things complicated AF.

Before Andrew made things official with Salley, he and Taylor Ann Green were an item. Meanwhile, Salley was dating Gaston Rojas, AKA the man now dating Taylor.

Things are growing weird between the ladies, as the men carry differing narratives about their romances than the females. But watching Season 10 as it airs might have them prying open their eyes, as Salley and Andrew are officially no more.

At the start of Season 10, Salley breaks down this love triangle by explaining that she and Andrew are best friends. Andrew got Salley through her Gaston sh*t, and she helped him “get through the Taylor sh*t. We bonded over it. And, yeah, now we are dating,” she explained.

But in her prior relationship with Gaston, Taylor chalks this up to a fling. Salley, however, claimed their relationship was much more serious, as she and Gaston had exchanged “I love you’s.”

Nevertheless, when a woman changes her hair, her man better take notice. Midway through Season 10, Salley gave us all a confusing jump scare after she went from a blonde to a brunette within seconds in her confessional. She then made fun of this online, which was pretty endearing. However, here we are, seeing Salley making changes in her life that involve a male, so perhaps this saying holds certain truths after all.

During a January 19 Instagram Q&A, a fan asked Salley if she was still dating Andrew. “No!” Salley answered. Thankfully, Bravo recorded this receipt for those who might have missed these posts.

Unfortunately, Salley failed to provide details about their breakup. Hopefully, we will learn more about what befell Salley and Andrew as Southern Charm Season 10 continues. Or maybe we will glean more during the reunion, but either way, onward and happy trails, Salley and Andrew.
