Save on sports with EE's Big Sport bundle. (Image: EE)
If you love sport, then a new package from EE wraps up all the best sports channels including Sky and saves you a packet in the process. Not only will you get EE’s fibre broadband, but you’re getting access to all the sports services, with no upfront cost, for £67.99 a month.
That might sound like a fair whack, but there’s a lot in the bundle. You start with EE’s Fibre 50 Essentials, which is fast enough to stream a couple of HD channels simultaneously with ease. Then you have all 12 of Sky Sport’s channels, in HD, including Premier League, Golf and F1.
On top of that you have Discovery+ with the TNT Sports channels, which brings you Champions League, Europa League, UFC and a whole lot more. It’s a massive sporting bundle, so you're sure to be entertained.

EE’s broadband comes with a smart router that includes WiFi 6 tech so all your mobile devices will have a strong and speedy connection to your home WiFi. Then you get to choose the TV box – with the EE TV Box Pro, you can record up to 600 hours of live TV, with support for support for 4K HDR and Dolby Atmos sound. Or you could take an Apple TV 4K, if you wish, although that means no recording.
Finally you get into all that sport – which is where the big savings are. The broadband part of this deal is worth £30 on its own – but it’s worth considering that Discovery+ Premium would also cost £30, while Now Sports would cost £35 on its own too – so it’s a great bundled saving.
If you opt for the Big Sport package, EE will also throw in the EE TV Box Mini, so you can hook-up another TV in your home and watch in a different room. And because you’re getting Sky Sports through Now, you’ll be able to switch packs – so once the season is finished, you could move to a different Now Pass, and watch movies instead.
If you think that Big Sport sounds a little too much for you, then EE’s Sport package could be just the ticket, at £48.99 a month instead. You don’t get access to Sky Sports through this, so you’ll miss a lot of the Premier League, F1 and a whole lot more, but it’s much cheaper.

Of course, you could go to Sky for your Sport instead. Sky will offer you a Sky Stream box (with Netflix thrown in) from £15 a month. That’s a great starting point, but once you’ve picked a base pack, Sky Sports, TNT Sports and Sky broadband, you could be looking at £80 a month all-in, and while you get loads of channels in that, if you're just after sport, the EE could be the better option for you.
Sky Stream is available without Sky broadband, however, so if you're happy with your existing broadband and just want to upgrade the content on your telly, then Sky Stream could be the way to do it. Sky Stream connects to your home WiFi, letting you stream loads of channels - with a full range of Sky content available for you to choose.
