Shayne Ward has been issued some bad news ahead of his next Strictly routine.
The singer and his Strictly partner Nancy Xu narrowly escaped elimination last weekend as they were in the dance-off against Punam Krishan and Gorka Marquez. But it was Punam and Gorka who got the boot during Halloween Week.
However, it appears Corrie star Shayne could be the next celebrity to leave the BBC ballroom as the bookmakers at Coral have listed him as the 6/4 favourite to be eliminated this weekend. This week is Icons Week, so on Saturday (November 2) Shayne and Nancy will do a Quickstep to Help! by The Beatles.

Behind Shayne, Wynne Evans is 7/2 to be eliminated from the show, while Sam Quek has odds of 4/1. Coral's John Hill said: “Shayne Ward has attracted the most bets in our elimination betting ahead of the weekend. The pop singer is the favourite to depart, with Wynne Evans and Sam Quek both likely to need a big performance too,".
TV doc and Morning Live star Punam became the fifth celeb axed from the competition last weekend. The 41-year-old didn't quite cut it with her Tango to Eurythmics' banger Sweet Dreams, bagging a score of just 26 from the judges and finding herself at the bottom of the leaderboard alongside Chris McCausland, who is still the favourite to win the show.
After being eliminated, Dr Punam told Tess Daly of her Strictly experience: "I am really proud of myself. You know I've taken on something that's so out of my comfort zone.
"The one thing that I've very much learnt is to say yes more, and that there is no point in your life when you can stop learning new skills. I've learnt more than dancing, I've learnt so much from Gorka. Everyone's been so incredible and it's just memories that I'll take home forever and I am very proud.
"I've made my family very proud, I'm just really grateful." Gorka shared his thoughts on Punam's efforts in the show, revealing to Tess: "She's a GP and a mum.
"She had never danced before and I think she improved week by week. I think she is truly what the show is about, someone who doesn't have experience in the performance world came here and learnt to dance."
