Tess Daly, the adored presenter of BBC's Strictly Come Dancing, has been a mainstay on our screens for two decades. The host, married to Vernon Kay, consistently wows audiences with her impeccable look every Saturday night alongside Claudia Winkleman.
However, she once confessed to a 'disgusting habit' that she keeps under wraps from the public.
In a 2021 interview with The Guardian, the 55 year old starlet disclosed some lesser-known details about herself, including that she hadn't sampled Italian cuisine since she was 15 and had featured in two Duran Duran music videos. My kids are thoroughly unimpressed. I'm like, 'Excuse me. These guys were the One Direction of my day. I had their posters on my bedroom wall and look, I'm dancing with them,'" she laughed.
Offering fans a peek into her home life with spouse Vernon Kay, Tess revealed his worst habit, which surprisingly isn't as bad as hers. "Vernon's worst habit is that he always gets into the shower five minutes before we go out. It drives me bonkers," she admitted before unveiling her own 'disgusting' habit.

"I bite my split ends off in the car, which is gross. It's disgusting. I've probably got a fur ball in my stomach the size of a tennis ball," the ex-model quipped, reports the Mirror.
Tess isn't the only one divulging details about her personal life with Vernon. The pair, who have been wed for over twenty years, have two teenage daughters - 19 year old Phoebe and 14 year old Amber.
Beloved television host Vernon Kay recently shared with his audience a cheeky habit that earns him a telling-off from his spouse. While expressing admiration for his better half on his BBC Radio 2 programme, the star revealed that when he isn't feeling his best, he's treated like royalty at home.

However, it's not all smooth sailing. Amidst chuckles, he confessed: "Sometimes I get shouted at because it's not reciprocated, I think is the right word," before adding, "You know, I apologise on a regular basis, so yeah, there you go, they really do look after me."
Last year marked a significant anniversary for the glamourous duo as they celebrated 20 years of marriage, and Tess has been openly fueling their romance before the watchful eyes of her Instagram followers. During an engaging Instagram Q&A, the Strictly presenter enthusiastically shared: "We still sit down for dinner and have so much to talk about, we still have a real laugh. When I see his name pop up on my phone, I'm like 'yay'".
With a smile, Tess continued: "We have a good laugh, he's always messing about, dancing and singing in the kitchen. [There's] never a dull moment."
