The pair were dressed warmly against the cold, with Jowita in a black long trench coat, white pants, white trainers, and a white hoodie, while keeping a low profile with a black hat. Jamie, walking alongside her, wore an emerald green thick jumper, grey pants, and white trainers.
Reports suggest that the two, both 30 years old, grew close while filming the series late last year and have maintained their close relationship during the Strictly Come Dancing Live tour.
The EastEnders actor and professional dancer met on the Christmas special of the programme in 2023, when he was crowned the winner with Nanxy Xu – despite being partnered with other stars. But feelings backstage soon started to brew with the pair allegedly forming a secret romance. Almost two years after meeting, the pair have continued to grow close on the Strictly tour across the UK.
Currently, Jamie is partnered with Michelle Tsiakkas, while Jowita is part of the professional dancers lineup. Last year, Jowita, 30, reached the semi-final with reality star, Pete Wicks, who has previously spoken about the bond between the actor and the Polish star.
Sources claimed that the pair grew close while filming the BBC One dancing competition and Jowita instantly saw a spark with the Jay Brown actor. "Things did get romantic between them, Jowita loves Jamie's playfulness and sense of humour, not to mention he's a very talented dancer," a source said.
They went on to tell the MailOnline: "So many rumours were circulating about Jowita and Pete that her relationship with Jamie went under the radar, which was something they laughed about. They're still enjoying each other's company as they perform on the Strictly tour, with the cast believing their romance could well lead to something long-term."
This comes after it was revealed that Wynne Evans was dropped from the Strictly Come Dancing Live tour. A video emerged of Wynne, who participated in the latest Strictly series, making a vile sexual remark at his co-star while at the launch of the tour in Birmingham. Evans had apologised for the comment, yet he has since reportedly been axed from the show.
Wynne was recorded making an inappropriate sexual comment to Janette Manrara, who acts as host on the tour, when she walked over to the group. He sang out: "Go Compare," before adding: "Not too close to Jamie [Borthwick]." He then used the hugely demeaning term "spit roast" in reference to a lewd sexual act.
In a statement, Evans told the Mirror: "My language was inappropriate and unacceptable, for which I sincerely apologise." He was seen with the tour cast as they turned up to Liverpool after having to pull out of the Glasgow shows due to an injury. However, it has been reported he will be out of the tour.
