Strictly's Johannes Radebe speaks about being in dance-off

Strictly Come Dancing professional Johannes Radebe has finally addressed rumours of his exit from the BBC comeptition series.

Taking to Instagram, the choreographer shut down reports that he would be stepping down from his beloved role after six years on the show.

Alongside a video Johannes filmed during rehearsals, he sang along to a song and reaffirmed the lyrics: "I'm going nowhere."

The dancer confirmed this in the caption and penned: "I'm not going nowhere! The story isnt true - I love Strictly and I want to do this beautiful show for as long as they want me - and the body will allow.

"I have Kinky Boots and other work in the pipeline yes but nothing will take me away."

In the clip, Johannes continued singing before adding: "It's a lie."

He then stood, danced to the music while inviting his celebrity partner Montell Douglas, who came into the frame with a huge grin and proceeded to dance with Johannes.

As they swayed to the music arm in arm, the South African native asked his followers: "Why they tell lies about me?"

The rumours were sparked after he was confirmed to star in Kinky Boots The Musical for the first seven months of 2025.

With over 200 dates, a source claimed the 37-year-old is "overwhelmed" with his ever-growing workload.
