Kai Widdrington has reached out to Maura Higgins after the pair were seen flirting.
Following the Daily Mirror's 2024 Pride of Britain Awards with TSB on Monday night, the Love Island star and Strictly Come Dancing professional were seen getting cosy at an afterparty. After the awards show closed, the pair moved to a bar located inside the five-star JW Marriott Grosvenor House on London's Park Lane.
Despite Maura getting close to The Only Way Is Essex star Pete Wicks and sharing a kiss, it appears that Kai, 29, also caught her attention. Onlookers spotted Kai placing his hand on Maura's arm while planting a kiss on the back of her head from behind. One moment also saw Maura, 33, tickle Kai's nose before he appeared to twirl her around.
Now, it appears that Maura gained Kai's seal of approval with her old school Hollywood look on Monday night. The Irish beauty took to Instagram sharing a behind-the-scenes look from Monday as her glam squad added the finishing touches to her look in a hotel hallway, with Maura beaming from ear to ear.

Earlier on in the night though, Maura appeared to confirm her romance with Pete Wicks, suggesting her flirting with Kai was platonic. Pete and Maura shared a sweet kiss in the Red Bar of London's Grosvenor House Hotel, where they partied until 1am, the Mirror revealed.
The pair have previously played it cool about their rumoured relationship, but made it clear to onlookers at the party that they were an item, sharing a tender moment in a corner before Maura planted a kiss on his nose, and then shared a kiss on the lips together.

In August, Maura and Pete were seen embracing one another outside the Broadwick hotel in Soho, but the pair have poked fun at the gossip - with Maura even wearing a t-shirt emblazoned with the photograph, and a slogan which read: "We can't be friends." She was also seen supporting Pete at the Hammersmith Apollo when he and pal Sam Thompson hosted their Staying Relevant podcast.
One attendee told the Mirror that despite locking lips with Maura, Pete was telling people how he was single. Our source said: "He was proudly declaring himself single on the red carpet during interviews and even made a joke of not being in a relationship in the bar after the awards."
