Two stars are reportedly avoiding eachother backstage (Image: BBC)
There is reported backstage tension between Kai Widdrington and Nadiya Bychkova on Strictly Come Dancing, according to The Sun. The former couple called time on their relationship in June after two years of dating.
Having both met on Strictly Come Dancing as professionals, the pair have been quietly 'avoiding eachother' since the breakup and are reported to be 'standing on opposite sides during live broadcasts.'
A source told The Sun: "It's painfully obvious Nadiya and Kai are in the awkward post-break up phase and struggling to be near one another.
"Obviously that's the risk that comes with dating someone at work, so they're both trying their best to steer clear of each other.
"When the pair are in the Clauditorium, they're always on opposite sides. Although they may have big smiles on their faces when the cameras are running, it's been very tense between them.

"They refuse to be near each other at all on set- but there's not much room up there with all the professionals."
Express Online have contacted Nadiya and Kai's reps for comment.
During the time of the split, there were reports that Nadiya had had met with BBC bosses toissue a complaint after ongoing "abuse" investigations.
That week, Graziano Di Prima was sacked over his "behaviour" to celebrity partner, Zara McDermott.The Italian dancer admitted that he "kicked" his celebrity partner Zara during training rehearsals last year.

Giovanni Pernice left the dance competition in June amidst allegations allegedly made by Amanda Abbington and two other celebrities. He denies all the allegations of "threatening or abusive behaviour."
Kai was recently left without a celebrity partner for the upcoming series. Nadiya was also dealt the same bitter slow last year when she wasn't given a partner for the 2023 series.
Nadiya was partnered with Olympic swimmer Tom Dean, but sadly the pair were the first to be eliminated from the competition.
Strictly Come Dancing resumes on Saturday at 6:30pm.
