Former Strictly Come Dancing pro Janette Manrara has shared an update about companion show It Takes Two following calls this week for her to no longer co-host it.
Janette, 41, alternates hosting the BBC spin-off with former contestant Fleur East, 37. Fleur fronted Monday's episode, which saw actor Jamie Borthwick and his dance partner Michelle Tsiakkas discuss their recent exit from Strictly.
Fleur was met with praise from viewers over the interview and some called for her to permanently present It Takes Two on her own, instead of sharing hosting duties with Janette. Not everyone agreed with the suggestion though.
Since the reaction on social media, Janette has shared updates on her life, including posting footage of herself back in the It Takes Two studio on Wednesday afternoon. She shared an update about the latest series in the video.
Janette told fans: "Hi team. Guess where I am. It Takes Two, baby. I can't believe we only have ... what two weeks left?" Someone in the background was then heard confirming to the presenter: "Two weeks left. Two and a half weeks."
The professional dancer, who gave fans a glimpse of the studio at one point, appeared to sport an expression of disappointment over only having a few episodes left of the current series. She added: "Two weeks left of It Takes Two. That flew by, didn't it? What a series. What a series."
The new series of It Takes Two is expected to conclude in the week that the upcoming final of Strictly airs. It's thought that the latest series of Strictly, which launched back in September, will come to an end with its final on December 14.

Sharing their thoughts, one fan wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Monday: "Fleur is an easier watch than [Janette], get rid of Janette and have Fleur as the presenter."
Someone responded: "Pretty please." Another commented on the post: "Totally agree." Praise for Fleur elsewhere on the platform included a tweet that same evening that read: "Say it again Fleur is much better on this than Janette."
Not everyone agreed with them though. Addressing the call for Janette to no longer host the show, one fan said: "No way." Another said amid the discussion: "I'm the opposite. Will only watch when Janette is presenting." Someone else commented: "Seriously? Janette runs rings around Fleur."
Janette - who was a pro on Strictly from 2013 to 2020 - has been a host on companion show It Takes Two since 2021. She initially shared hosting duties with Rylan Clark, who was then replaced by singer-songwriter Fleur just last year.
Fleur typically presents the long-running show on Mondays and Tuesdays, whilst Janette is usually the presenter on Wednesdays and Thursdays each week. The pair have then alternated hosting duties on Fridays throughout the series.
