Summer House's Danielle Olivera Addresses Carl Radke Dating Rumors, Putting Herself on Pause With Show, and What She Filmed For Season 9, Plus Lindsay Hubbard's Pregnancy and Why She Won't Babysit

Danielle Olivera reacted to claims of dating Carl Radke while attending Lindsay Hubbard‘s baby shower over the weekend.

As she also spoke of putting herself “on pause” with Summer House, revealed her thoughts on Lindsay’s pregnancy, and explained why she won’t be babysitting her castmate’s baby girl, Danielle, 35, confirmed whether or not she’s really dating Carl, 39.

“That’s hilarious. It’s like, what?” Danielle asked during an October 26 interview with Entertainment Tonight. “First, I was trying to like, the engagement, he hated me, I was trying to break up the … or not be happy for them during their engagement. Now I’m back together with him, like what?”

According to Danielle, she believes fans started the false rumor about her and Carl after seeing that they were friendly once again.

“I think people see us together being friendly again because I’m not going to be angry with him anymore. That time has passed. Lindsay’s over it. I’m over it. I just want to be friends with Carl again but god, you can’t have a guy friend these days,” Danielle noted.

Not only is Danielle not dating Carl, but she’s also not dating anyone.

“I’m single. [Donne] is what I’m focusing on. It’s what I need and I think the guy that’s right for me will come along. I’m just not trying to put myself out there in that way just yet,” she admitted, adding, “I was hoping [Lindsay’s boyfriend Turner Kufe] would invite some finance guys [to the baby shower].”

Although Danielle felt that taking a break from Summer House was important after season eight, she confessed to feeling that something was “missing” amid production on season nine.

“It’s like missing a limb almost. I know that’s so dramatic but the summer, it was weird, because it is something that I’m so used to doing,” she explained. “I swear, my car just wanted to go to Sag Harbor. Like, I’m meant to be there. But it was also really great to take a break. I know it’s weird to put yourself on pause but I just really needed to put myself on pause. Our entire year becomes summer. We talk about summer all year long.”

While Danielle did not film full-time, she did make appearances, including a cameo at Lindsay’s gender reveal party.

“I had to be there for that,” she noted.

“It was actually really funny because … Summer House, it’s not really a pregnancy sort of territory. It’s strange but she made it work. Honestly, she’s never been better. She has this glow, this bubbliness, this goofiness, and it worked. You can’t get angry at her,” she continued.

As Lindsay prepares to welcome her first child, Danielle says she’s “so happy for her.”

“I wanted to start crying immediately [when I found out] … She’s been wanting this for so long and she’ll say it’s out of order but I think it’s perfect,” Danielle stated, suspecting that Lindsay and Turner will eventually get married.

As for what kind of mom Lindsay will be, Danielle said, “She’s gonna be so great. I think she will be a disciplinarian.”

“The pregnancy has made her even more goofy and silly and fun and bubbly. She’s gonna be a mom like that but I don’t know because her past with her mom and everything, I think she has something in her mind that she’s gonna do exactly what her mom didn’t do and she’s gonna be the best mom in the world,” Danielle added. “It makes me want to cry actually. I’m excited for her.”

As for whether she’d babysit, Danielle admitted, “I don’t want to be with the child alone until they can wipe their own a**. I don’t want the meatball stage. It makes me so nervous. I want them running around, I want to play sports with her.”

Summer House season nine is expected to begin airing on Bravo sometime early next year.
