Wham! have scored a Christmas number one and number two with their festive classic Last Christmas - but can you remember if these hits were festive chart-toppers or near misses?

George Michael and Andrew Ridgely were favourites to top the Christmas charts for the second year running with their retro monster hit. They faced fierce competition from the Queen of Christmas, Mariah Carey with her retro classic, All I Want For Christmas Is You.

Meanwhile, Christmas playlists in shops and homes across the nation are blasting out lots of festive favourites from yesteryear. The Christmas Number One was announced on Friday (December 20).
