Lady Gaga, Green Day, Post Malone, and Travis Scott are set to headline one of the biggest music festivals in the United States.
The Coachella 2025 lineup is officially here!
It's a little earlier than normal. Goldenvoice, the festival's organizer, usually drops the lineup at the beginning of the year in January. But now, we received the news six weeks early.
On Wednesday, Nov. 20, the Coachella Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California, announced the lineup for the two-weekend event, taking place on April 11-13 and April 18-20 in 2025.
Lady Gaga will perform on Friday.
Green Day will perform on Saturday.
Post Malone will perform on Sunday.
According to a press release, Travis will perform a new era of music and will "curate a fully immersive and experiential world within the desert" on Saturday.
Other artists who've had a big 2024 year, like Missy Elliott, GloRilla, Charli xcx, Megan Thee Stallion, Benson Boone, and Tyla are performing throughout the weekends.
Not surprisingly, Green Day isn't the only band to return to the polo fields. The Misfits, Viagra Boys, Jimmy Eat World, Kraftwerk, and The Prodigy are back on the desert stage.
Blinks, rejoice! LISA and JENNIE (of BLACKPINK) will perform on Friday and Sunday, respectively.

Does this mean there's potential for a mini-Blackpink reunion?
In an Instagram post shared alongside the concert lineup poster, the festival wrote, "Music Make You Lose Control 🎵 Register now for access to passes at coachella.com. Presale begins Friday, 11/22 at 11am PT."

Lady Gaga, who performed at Coachella in 2017 as a replacement for Beyoncé, posted on Instagram about her anticipation for the festival.

She wrote, "I have long dreamed of throwing a massive night of chaos in the desert. I've had a vision I've never been able to fully realize at Coachella for reasons beyond our control but I wanted to come through for music fans. I have been wanting to go back and to do it right, and I am. I'm headlining and starting the weekend off at Coachella. Can't wait to hear you all singalong and dance dance DANCE till we drop. 🖤🔥" she wrote alongside an image of the festival poster.
Green Day posted to their Instagram account, "@COACHELLA WE'RE COMING FOR YOU IN 2025- HEADLINING SATURDAY NIGHT! 🤯🤯 Mark your calendars – April 12th & 19th to be exact – come cause chaos with us in the desert, it's gonna be one for the books! 🌵💥."

As for Post Malone, it was his Nov. 19 Instagram post announcing his 2025 Big Ass Stadium Tour with Jelly Roll that seemingly prompted an earlier-than-usual Coachella lineup conversation. Just a day before the lineup was revealed, Post's tour featured two back-to-back Indio, CA dates.

Every year, people have mixed reactions to the lineup. There are the folks who are excited for another music festival:
Coachella is the premier music festival in the US. Idc if influencers go there or not, if you can’t have fun at Coachella you just don’t like music that much

There's people who get excited for unexpected acts like Yo Gabba Gabba who is performing on Saturday:

Then there's the folks who are not impressed at all by the lineup:
this is actually very very VERY. underwhelming. coachella really fell off

And finally, there's the folks who don't even recognize most of the names on the lineup nowadays:
I’ve reached the age where I know like 6 of these names

But, then there are folks like me (who are almost 40) who bought their ticket last summer and are completely excited about everybody on the lineup. Let's get to the polo fields!
