Shimmer, glitter and shine – mood-boosting make-up is what party season is all about. Here are five make-up tips you need. The ’90s revival brought back blue and we’re here for it. ‘In the same way that blue undertones in lipstick make teeth look whiter, blue eyeshadow makes the whites of the eyes look brighter and eye colours pop,’ says Conway, who used Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick in Sapphire, £29.50.Cool Blues
Ombré red lips have entered the chat. ‘Reserve a darker shade for the outer edges of your lips and pop the lighter, brighter shade in the centre,’ advises Conway, who layered Bobbi Brown Luxe Lip in Claret and Parisian Red, £36 each.Loud Mouth
There ain’t no party like a glitter party, and now’s the time to go all-out. ‘It’s all about layering,’ says Conway. ‘Start with a cream shadow for staying power, then a layer of gold sparkle eyeshadow and, finally, add in chunky glitter.’Glitteratti
For instant impact with minimal effort, try experimenting with your blusher placement. ‘Blend along the top of your cheekbones and up over your eyelids. Then count the compliments,’ says Conway.Feeling Cheeky
