We’ve seen countless fashion trends come and go throughout 2024, and while ‘a pop of red’ was arguably one of our favourites. But as the festive season approaches, more is definitely more when it comes to this seasonal shade.
Taking to her This Morning presenting duties, Cat Deeley absolutely nailed the latest trend with an elevated high street dress. And we think it’s perfect for the festive season.
The host, who recently celebrated her 48th birthday, looked incredibly chic in a Roll-Neck Maxi Dress, which we’ve discovered was from H&M-owned retailer Arket. Coming in at £129, the high neck and extra long, raglan sleeves are ideal for adding warmth to your seasonal outfit, while the bias-cut skirt adds a beautiful flare to the dress.

Knitted styles like this are a classic for this time of year, and strike a balance between casual and put-together, with the concealed zip bringing a smarter feel to the overall look. Made from a viscose knit mix, the dress is available in EU sizes 32-44, which is the equivalent of UK sizes 4-16.
Styling the outfit on October 24, Cat added a pair of knee high boots - another wardrobe staple for autumn and winter - as well as a statement belt from River Island. Cat used the £25 Black large clip waist belt to cinch her waist, giving the dress the illusion of a co-ord.

Though for something even more premium, we’re loving the Wool Rich Roll Neck Midi Jumper Dress at M&S, which is £150 from a Chinti & Parker.
Speaking of M&S, they’ve also got some fantastic partywear picks, also approved by Cat. The mum-of-two donned a sparkly mini dress from the retailer as she made a guest appearance on the final of ITV show Dress the Nation last month. Costing £45, Cat’s exact ensemble is the Sparkly V-Neck Mini Shift Dress that has a regular fit, a plunging neckline and a sleeveless shape.

The velvet mini features an embroidered floral pattern all over for a seamlessly feminine vibe, without sacrificing the sophistication of the look. With a high collar and the option of a v-neckline or closed clasp look, this dress is perfect for all occasions, be it your work-do, winter weddings or a Christmas date night.

The comedian wears the £45 dress in the retailer’s latest Christmas advert, with the shimmering textured fabric making it a really understated but elegant piece.
