A TK Maxx shopper has shared the codes everyone should be looking for

An excited TK Maxx shopper has shared the hidden codes that makes it easy to ensure you're making the most of the deals available. There's often a little bit of doubt that you're getting the best deal, especially during the festive season when retailer's are frequently offering sales.

However, one TK Maxx fan has revealed codes you can spot on products in store - and what they mean when it comes to snapping up a bargain. The retail giant is renowned for offering massive discounts, particularly on designer items, so many fans will be pleased to know they can ensure the best deals.

Money-saving shopper and Instagram user Jordan Cox, known as the Coupon Kid, took a close look at products available at TK Maxx. He pointed to a small row of numbers on the label - and the one number that means the most.

Jordan's post racked up more than 68,000 likes and many comments from excited TK Maxx fans. In the caption, he wrote: "Look out for these codes at TK Maxx. When shopping there, always check the labels for a number ‘1’, ‘2’ or ‘7’.

"A number 1 means that product was made specifically for TK Maxx, and may not be the same quality as the brand it says it is.

"A number 2 is what you’re looking for! These items are made by the brand, and were sold by the brand (but are just cheaper being sold at TK Maxx). This is what you’re looking for.

"There’s also a number 7, which means it’s last year’s stock (but still a branded item and genuine). Please do have a check before you buy something. It may seem like a bargain looking at the price, but it may wear out sooner than you think if it’s not the real deal."

Beneath the clip, one person said: "Great info", while a second wrote: "Me and my best pal go on TK Maxx crawls." A third shopper added: "Mind blown" and another said: "Great tips."
