Tom Brady only learned days ago that his supermodel ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, is expecting her first child with her jiu-jitsu instructor beau, Joaquim Valente.
A source told Page Six that Brady learned last week that Bündchen is expecting.
TMZ reported that the Brazilian beauty is about five or six months along, meaning the baby would be due in early 2025.
Another well-placed Miami, Fla., source familiar with Brady confirmed, “Tom only found out that Gisele was pregnant very recently.”
Although the couple share two children, Ben, 14, and Vivian, 11, the same source added it was in Bündchen’s style to keep the pregnancy a secret from the former NFL pro.
“Tom’s great, a very nice, normal guy,” said the insider.
“Gisele is… very different. She really blows hot and cold,” the source said.
Asked how the relationship is between the former couple these days, the source added, “I think they talk when they have to,” adding, “Tom does his best for the kids and puts them first and that’s all that matters — he’s trying his best.”
Reps for the exes did not comment.
Brady has so far remained mum on the pregnancy news, since the news broke on Monday in celeb friendly magazine People.
The former Super Bowl champ, 47, only has shared a cryptic song about “changing.”
Via Instagram Stories he posted a sunset pic, scored with the Chicks’ 2022 cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide.”
The famous lyrics in the post read: “Oh, mirror in the sky, what is love / Can the child within my heart rise above / Can I sail through the changing ocean tides / Can I handle the seasons of my life?”
The former quarterback’s post came hours after sources revealed Bündchen was expecting.
According to TMZ, Bündchen, 44, and her new beau, 35, are reportedly waiting to learn the sex of the baby.
The outlet also said that the model gave Brady a heads up about the pregnancy before the news got out — but did not specify when she told him.
She has yet to speak out about her pregnancy. She appeared to be covering her baby bump with a big purse while leaving a Pilates studio in Miami two weeks ago.
Bündchen and Valente started dating in June 2023, less than a year after Bündchen and Brady announced in October 2022 they were divorcing after 13 years of marriage.
Brady is also the father to 17-year-old son Jack with his ex Bridget Moynahan.
“Gisele and Joaquim are happy for this new chapter in their life and they’re looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family,” an insider close to the couple told People on Monday.
She and Valente sparked dating rumors in November 2022 after the martial arts master was seen accompanying the famous model and her children on a vacation in Costa Rica.
The outing came just a month after she filed for divorce from Brady.
At the time, Bündchen denied there was anything romantic between her and the fitness instructor, who taught her and her children martial arts.
