Sister Wives star Christine Brown is convinced she’s “made for monogamy” despite her history of being one of Kody Brown’s four wives for years. She ditched him in 2021 and found a new man.

For years, Sister Wives followed Kody Brown’s life as a husband to four women. He and Christine Brown went on to have multiple children together, but since she left him, she’s decided polygamy isn’t her thing.

Christine Brown ‘made for monogamy’

Christine Brown revealed she’s “made for monogamy” as she sinks into a marriage with David Wooley. She’s currently celebrating her honeymoon with her new husband on a Virgin Voyages cruise.

They waited a year after tying the knot to go on their post-wedding vacation. “I absolutely love monogamy — I was made for it,” Christine told Us Weekly, adding “there’s no keeping score”.

They “just both love and move forward.” However, Christine admitted that she was “a bit worried” the day before she moved in with Woolley. “I’d never lived with a guy full-time before,” she explained.

“But we moved right into life with each other. I didn’t know that we could both accomplish and do everything that we want to do, but just better than we’ve ever done before,” Christine added.

She continued: “It’s mind blowing how having someone there to support you makes you a better person. It’s phenomenal to me.” Brown removed herself from ownership in a Flagstaff property with Kody.

Sister Wives star leaves polygamy behind

Less than one year after going public with their romance, Brown and Woolley, 60, tied the knot in Utah in October 2023. The wedding aired on Sister Wives, but Robyn and Meri Brown weren’t invited.

As she enjoys her honeymoon, Brown wrote: “I have been craving a trip to Florence since I watched the 1985 A Room with A View,” as they touched down with her “dream come true.”

She called it the “trip of lifetime” she wants to go back on with her new husband. The two are now living together and told Us Weekly in October that she’s “happier than I’ve ever been.”
