Married At First Sight's reunion specials are facing significant disruption as two key stars have reportedly pulled out.

Sources claim Alex Henry won't be featuring in the upcoming episodes, and added turmoil comes from a notorious bride, who seems to be avoiding the E4 programme altogether.

According to reports from the Sun, that Belfast-based fitness coach Eve who rose to fame on MAFS UK, is giving producers the silent treatment by snubbing calls for the reunion.

Dubbed "toxic" by some viewers following her behaviour, where she slept with partner Charlie on their initial night together but then grew distant on their honeymoon, Eve's decision not to join the reunion has raised eyebrows, Birmingham Live reports.

While her marriage with Charlie was tumultuous – with him trying to leave the programme twice – they did make efforts to salvage their relationship on screen before ultimately leaving the experiment. Post-show developments revealed that Eve had started a new relationship.

An insider shared: "Producers were really hoping Eve would return for the reunion episodes to give some closure to her rocky relationship with Charlie and reflect on what went wrong. But she refused to film and hasn't been in touch with show bosses or the rest of the cast since.

"Eve clearly wants to move on from the show but it's a shame she didn't return to reflect on everything, especially after viewers were invested in her and Charlie's journey."

Meanwhile, Alex - who remains with his wife Holly Ditchfield despite both exiting the experiment - has also given the reunion a miss. The Sun revealed that Alex did not partake in the filming for the upcoming reunion episodes airing next week, marking his final appearance on the show.

An insider shared with the publication: "Alex didn't film either of the two reunion episodes, which seemed really odd to the rest of the cast. It was unclear whether it was Channel 4's decision or his own, but there was a lot of chatter about it amongst the brides and grooms who expected him to be there with his ex, Holly."
