"I just didn’t want to pull a lot of attention to me."

Tyra Banks revealed she is one of the many Los Angeles residents who were displaced due to the devastating wildfires that are sweeping through various areas in the city.

The death toll has risen to 27 as thousands of people lost their homes, and unfortunately, reports state the toll is expected to increase.

Areas greatly affected by the fires include Altadena, Pacific Palisades, Eaton, and several others.

Well, while visiting Australia's morning show Sunrise on Monday, the former supermodel recently revealed her home also fell victim to the fire.

“I’m one of them,” Tyra said when asked if she knew anyone who had lost their home. "I lost my house."

“I haven’t really talked about it but, yeah, I have. I just didn’t want to pull a lot of attention to me, I feel that there's a lot of people that need that attention, so I haven't really talked about it, but I can't sit here and not tell the truth, so yeah we lost our house."

Tyra and her partner Louis Bélanger-Martin were at a friend's house in Australia when they found out that their home had been destroyed.

"We were celebrating and just having fun. I kept checking my phone, not for my house, but just for friends and family,” she added. “I was just making sure they were evacuating and everything.”

"I didn’t say anything to my friends. I just stayed in that moment. Then we went home and we cried. We had our moment."

Because the America's Next Top Model star and Louis currently have homes in both Australia and NY, they actually had a lot of personal mementos with them in Australia, despite their LA property getting destroyed.
