Fans of The Real Housewives of Atlanta have been thirsty for tea regarding season 16 of the show. Now, Bravo has released the first look at the season, which features Porsha Williams discussing her issues with Simon Guobadia. He has now responded on social media. Plus, Porsha recently answered a shady question about Drew Sidora, and she’s not taking the criticism lightly, as she has clapped back.
As many know, Bravo held the Miami Fan Fest this weekend. Much like BravoCon, it brought together many of the stars from a range of its shows. For RHOA fans, there was a ton of tea spilled about what fans can expect.
Perhaps the most significant bit of news from the Fan Fest is that Bravo debuted the first look at the new season of RHOA. As this season marks Porsha’s big comeback, it’s only right that she’d be the focal point of the first look. In the preview, fans can see her getting off an elevator in a way that only Porsha could. Sadly, she’s headed to see her divorce lawyer during the scene.
In the preview, she says, “It is definitely crazy having to call Randy again and saying, ‘I gotta file for divorce.'” The clip then shows a split screen, contrasting her meeting with him during her first divorce and now this one from Simon.
She goes on, “My divorce from Simon, I haven’t dealt with the emotional part yet. I’ve had to deal with the logistics. It’s really weird. It feels really cold.”
Later, she discusses why she filed for divorce from Simon. Porsha says, “In my relationship with Simon, I felt that if I had him by my side, we could conquer anything.”
She continues, “However, I started just realizing a lot of different things that turned out to be untruths. He wouldn’t tell me what our finances were. I’m not going to let a foreclosure notice come to my house, and I can’t pay it. So, I wanted to make sure if it happens, I have the money to help us do what we need to do.”
She says in a confessional, “I felt the need to file when I did to protect assets.”
The preview also shows Porsha discussing Simon not allowing her to film in the marital home and her attorney discussing fighting that motion.
Naturally, Simon didn’t take too kindly to Porsha’s comments in the preview for RHOA season 16. He took to Instagram and made a post discussing the court order granting Porsha access to the home. He says he paid for it and that he’s still paying the mortgage on it. See the post below.
However, that’s not all of the fallout Porsha is receiving from Miami Fan Fest. While on a panel, she was asked who from her cast needs to be more unfiltered. She first defined “unfiltered” and said it’s about living in your truth.
She then says, “I would say Drew Sidora, and I would love that for her. Just because I think it’s easier ’cause you can’t remember what you say. Sometimes, if you say something and it’s filtered with something else, you can’t remember it.”
The host then says, “Filtered with what, Porsha?”
She responds, “You know, lies. For me, when you have a peach, everyone is a main character, and when you’re not honest and just really letting the cameras in, meanwhile I’m over here split wide open, wig off, everything. It’s like, damn, give me some of her check if she’s not gonna do her job.”
Porsha also spoke ill of a newbie who “came in hot.”
Drew issued a response to Porsha’s comments on X, saying, “Hello pot, I’m kettle… didn’t you leave on a lie?? & returned to creating lies because someone couldn’t talk about someone.”

Sadly, they didn’t say when we’d have RHOA on our screens again. However, social media is going wild for what seems like it could be a return to form for the series. Plus, people really seem to like the updated confessional setup.
