Samantha Davis, the former wife of actor Warwick Davis, died last March at the age of 53, leaving her husband an inheritance of more than ?500,000. The couple were together for more than 30 years, 33 to be precise. Warwick was known for his famous role in 'Harry Potter' and described Samantha as "his best friend, confidante and greatest support". In addition, Warwick was the sole beneficiary and trustee of her will, which according to several documents revealed by The Sun amounted to ?536,830.

What brought Samantha and Warwick so close together?

Samanha Davis and Warwick Davis met on the set of 'Willow' in 1988, where they both had different roles. They married three years later, in 1991, and had three children, but one tragically died at birth. Their other two children, Annabelle and Harrison, paid an emotional tribute to their mother, remembering her as a great loving mother and best friend.

Samantha passed away last March, as she was diagnosed with achondroplasia, a type of dwarfism, at the same time that Warwick has congenital spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia, which limits his height to three feet and six inches. These common conditions helped them both to understand each other perfectly and to work together in their charity, which was dedicated to the representation and support of people with dwarfism in the UK.

Samantha has been declining in health in recent years and was on the verge of death in 2019, when she had a severe sepsis that meant she had to go urgently to hospital, which was a real horror for Warwick: "It was the longest hours of my life, with my children in the room, saying goodbye to her, although she survived".

Warwick also said what the death of his wife last March meant to him: "She always saw the positive side of life and laughed at my bad jokes. Her strength and attitude to life will be a legacy for me and my children, she was an incredible person."
